VpCI®-337 / GE / Winterized

SKU: N/A

VpCI®-337 is a ready-to-use waterborne corrosion inhibitor used primarily for robust preservation of internal void spaces. Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors (VpCI®) in VpCI®-337 migrate to protect metal surfaces resulting in time and cost savings. When combined with labor-saving techniques, minimum amount of product can be used to protect large areas or volumes. VpCI-337 is effective on multiple metals.

Description

VpCI®-337 is a combination of contact and vapor corrosion inhibitors, which allows a wide range of uses; from low-dose voidspace protection to steel coil edge spray. Pipes, tanks, and other equipment protected by VpCI®-337 are ready-for-use or commissioning, often without the need for removal*. VpCI®-337 is completely water-soluble allowing ease of use for pigging, purging, or other existing processes. No degreasing or stripping is necessary. The metal will retain a clean and rust-free surface. In most cases, the thin protective film will not affect paint processes, conductivity, appearance, or any other important property of metals or alloys. VpCI®-337 Winterized has a lower freezing point for the convenience of application and storage in cold temperatures.

VpCI®-337 GE is specially formulated to be used in systems that are sensitive to sodium and sulfer.
*Please review your application with Cortec® Technical Service prior to commissioning.
