This policy is based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, United Nations (UN) Global
Compact, UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, Basic ILO Conventions,
OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights
and national laws.
Scope : Our company, which accepts Human Rights as an integral
part of our Social Compliance Policy and Principles, carries out its activities
in a way that respects human rights. The company works to provide a work environment that respects human rights in accordance with international
standards, where employees can develop themselves, express their ideas freely and not be subjected to discrimination.
Our Basic Principles:
Equality and Non-Discrimination: DEYAP recognises that all individuals have equal rights and does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, sex, language, religion, political opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.
Right to Life and Liberty: We recognise that every individual has the right to life, liberty and security of person.
Forced Labour and Child Labour: We have a zero tolerance policy against forced labour and child labour. We expect all our suppliers and business partners to comply with the same standards.
Prohibition of Torture and Ill-Treatment: We believe that no one should be subjected to torture, cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
Freedom of Association and Assembly: We respect the right of our employees to join trade unions and bargain collectively.
Fair and Equal Working Conditions: We take all necessary measures to ensure that our employees work in a safe and healthy working environment. Working hours, wages and other working conditions are determined in accordance with the relevant legal regulations and international standards.
Training and Awareness: We organise regular trainings to raise awareness on human rights and inform our employees on this issue.
Complaint and Feedback Mechanisms: We create safe and accessible mechanisms where our employees and other stakeholders can report their complaints about human rights violations.
Implementation and Monitoring: We carry out regular review and monitoring activities to ensure the effective implementation of this policy. We respond quickly and effectively to human rights violations.
